Affiliates Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

Nonaffiliates Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
• Nonaffiliates with which we share may include insurance companies, service providers, marketing partners, data processors and advertisers.
Joint marketing A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.
• Our joint marketing partners include companies such as banks and insurance companies.
Other important information
California Residents: We will not share your personal information with nonaffiliated third parties that are not financial institutions except as required or permitted by California or federal law. In addition, you may request that we not share your personal information with nonaffiliated financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements, except as required or permitted by California or federal law.

Vermont Residents: We do not share your personal information with nonaffiliates, except as permitted by Vermont or federal law. We may share your name, contact information, and information about your transactions with us and our experience with you with nonaffiliated financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements. Choice With Respect To Receiving Marketing Emails
Any information that you enter on an enrollment or other form on our Web Site may be collected and retained by Trilegiant Corporation even if you decide not to enroll, may be used by Trilegiant to send you future promotional information, and will be subject to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. If you do not want to receive future promotional information from PrivacyGuard in the future, you may let us know by going to https://www.PrivacyGuard.com/optout and entering your email address. Maintaining the Security of Your Information
We attempt to provide for the secure transmission of your information from your computer to our servers by utilizing encryption software. However, due to the inherent open nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that communications between you and Trilegiant, and Trilegiant and you, will be free from unauthorized access by third parties, such as hackers.

Verisign Cybertrust Security

In addition to employing these high-security measures, we have undergone a rigorous certification process for Cybertrust Corporation's Web Certification program. This process examined in great detail every aspect of our security precautions, and included an on-site inspection of our facility for physical security and policy, plus a remote assessment of our potential vulnerabilities to web-based attacks. Cybertrust's certification is a continuous process, repeated and renewed annually.

Your California Privacy Rights
Under California law, California residents have the right to request in writing from businesses with whom they have an established business relationship, (1) a list of the categories of personal information, such as name, address, email address, and the type of services provided to the customer, that a business has disclosed to third parties (including affiliates that are separate legal entities) during the immediately preceding calendar year for the third parties' direct marketing purposes, and (2) the names and addresses of all such third parties. We will respond to such written requests within 30 days following receipt at the email or mailing address stated above. If we receive your request at a different email or mailing address, we will respond within a reasonable period of time, but not to exceed 150 days from the date received. Please note that we are only required to respond to each customer once per calendar year.
